The Camden Cats are excited to announce the appointment of Jed Ellis-Cluff to the position of Senior Coach for the 2019 season.
Jed has been a member of the Camden Cats Football Club since the start of the 2018 season; after moving to the area from country NSW. Prior to joining the Cats, Jed played in the AFL North West at the Armidale Football Club and the AFL North Coast at the Sawtell Football Club. He is a 4-time premiership player.
Jed’s previous coaching experience at both clubs, including coaching the 2016 Senior Premiership team at Armidale, will be invaluable in his new role as Camden Cats Senior Coach. With Jed already part of our “system” the club is confident that he can continue to build on the solid foundation from our first year in Premier Division and bring some fresh ideas from his time as a player/coach in the AFL North West and AFL North Coast competitions.
We look forward to Jed playing a leading role in developing the next crop of local talent, our existing senior players and our new recruits as we enter our second year in the top flight.
Jed will be at the coaching helm from Tuesday 4 December 2018.
